Designed for riders who want the perfect balance between durability, lightweight construction, and everyday practicality, the new APDURO semi-rigid bags are built specifically for the BMW R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure. Each bag offers an impressive 40L capacity, providing enough space for long-distance adventures, commuting, or weekend trips - while maintaining a slim and modern profile on the motorcycle.

The set comes complete with dedicated APDURO aluminum mounting plates designed specifically for your selected motorcycle version. The mounting system is equipped with lockable BMW-codable lock inserts, allowing you to conveniently use your original BMW motorcycle key for the luggage system. Additional padlocks are included to secure the bags during travel and parking.

The bags are primarily made from high-quality Hypalon material, known for its exceptional resistance to abrasion, weather conditions, water, and intensive adventure use. The semi-rigid construction helps the bags keep their shape while remaining lighter and more flexible than traditional aluminum panniers. The bags are also equipped with MOLLE panels, allowing you to securely attach additional accessories and gear for extended adventures. Additionally, each bag features an air-release valve, making it easier to compress the bag and close it securely.

R1300GS
Is the set symmetrical?


Yes. For the BMW R1300GS, the APDURO Hewer™ luggage system is fully symmetrical. The distance from the motorcycle's centerline to both the left and right bag is identical, ensuring a balanced appearance and even weight distribution.
Does the set include the bar?

Yes. The APDURO Hewer™ system for the BMW R1300GS includes an additional crossbar that can be installed between the mounting plates. It increases the overall rigidity and stability of the luggage system.

We recommend installing the crossbar when carrying heavier loads or when riding off-road, where additional support can help reduce movement and improve durability.
Can the bag be compressed?

Yes. The APDURO Hewer™ bags can be compressed using the external straps when they are not fully loaded. This allows the overall volume of the bag to be reduced, minimizes movement of the contents inside, and provides a more compact and secure setup during riding.

R1300GS ADVENTURE
Is the set symmetrical?

No. For the BMW R1300GS Adventure, the APDURO Hewer™ system is not fully symmetrical.

To ensure compatibility with aftermarket exhaust systems - particularly the popular Akrapovič exhaust - the right-side mounting plate and bag are positioned 16 mm further away from the motorcycle's centerline. This additional clearance helps prevent the luggage from coming into contact with the exhaust and reduces the risk of heat-related damage.
Does the set include the bar?

No. The APDURO Hewer™ system for the BMW R1300GS Adventure does not include a crossbar.

Thanks to the robust four-point mounting system that attaches directly to the original BMW Adventure side racks, additional reinforcement is not required. The system provides excellent stability and support without the need for a crossbar.
